It is my pleasure to welcome you to the 2021 Franchise Leadership & Development Conference. What an honor it is to serve as the chairman for such an important event that brings together franchise executives from across the industry.
The goal of the conference is to provide franchise development and c-suite executives the education and inspiration to help them grow their businesses. Central to this purpose has always been a focus on networking and personal connection. Given the events that have unfolded over the last year, there has never been a more important time to convene the franchise industry’s best and brightest in leadership and development.
The theme of this year’s conference is Learn|Lead|Grow. As we move forward from the pandemic, reconcile the importance of the social justice movement, and seek to understand the potential impact of sweeping public policy change, it is critical to invest in the foundational aspects of leadership and development. We have seen the pace of change accelerate across our economy and broader society. Leaders that accelerate their learning will have an edge as they position their organizations for strategic growth in this environment.
The opening workshops, general, and breakout sessions will address different aspects of the conference theme. Our speakers and session leaders will bring the inspiration, ideas, and innovation so you can bring them back to your brands to drive superior results.
