Hand & Stone Partners with Massage Therapy Programs to Celebrate Massage Therapy Awareness!

Hand & Stone Massage and Facial Spas is proud to celebrate Massage Therapy Awareness Week from October 22nd through October 28th! Massage Therapy is a clinical skill, offers an opportunity to heal others and can assist you in better awareness of your own body. Pursuing a massage therapy license can provide job security, financial stability, schedule flexibility, and a new career in as little as nine months depending on your state’s requirements.

At Hand & Stone, we have almost 600 locations that work in different ways to offer education opportunities to those embarking on a career in massage therapy – through student sponsorship, tuition reimbursement, externships, and more. Hand & Stone spa owners and operators have created individual relationships with a variety of massage schools and programs to meet the wide range of potential student needs.

Through our student program options, students can attend classes in a variety of ways that work best for them – regional training centers, traditional school sessions, or hybrid programs. There are multiple class options available, including evenings and weekends.

Some spas also offer job opportunities while in school, and continued employment after licensure as a massage therapist. With a supportive spa environment, ongoing training and support after massage therapist licensure, and a stress-free booking model, Hand & Stone Spas are proud to help those interested in a career in massage therapy set themselves up for success!

Michaela, a recent graduate of one of our school partners, MPower Education shares “My time with MPower Education gave me the resources to excel as a massage therapist. The combination of hands-on classes allowed me to work around my busy schedule to get through school, which I would have been unable to do otherwise. My integration into Hand & Stone felt seamless and I feel supported and heard in this work environment. The combination of my education and positive work environment is why I feel I have excelled as a new massage therapist. I still feel like there is so much room to grow in this profession with the help of Hand & Stone, and I am excited to see my career grow!” Michaela is working at the Colorado Mills, CO spa operated by multi-unit franchisee, Erik Bostrom.
